Luna follows other popular releases in the Fantasy Figure Gallery including Black Tinkerbell by Luis Royo, Golden Lover by Julie Bell, and The Sacrifice also by Cleavenger. The statue is highly detailed and includes translucent and cast off parts. Comes with a specially designed and colorful moon base. Stands almost 10 inches tall with the base.

Hinatunaone, Woman of the Sands. That is what he named her. Drawn by his own hand from the sands of a distant land, she appeared at once adorned as if waiting ever vigilant for her creator, her mate to come; yet at the same time invaded by a sense of privilege… and a touch of ice.

A new release in the Fantasy Figure Gallery series! A Touch of Ice is based on art by Luis Royo and sculpted by Shunjii Hagii. This is the 2nd release in the Fantasy Figure Gallery series that is based on Luis Royo’s art. Royo’s previous release in the FFG series was Medusa’s Gaze.

I remember talking to one of Yamato’s reps when the Medusa prototype was first introduced. They were concerned about the production quality of the statue because of the intricate tattoos, particularly on the legs underneath the pantyhose. The final production of the figure came out quite nicely and was very well received by fans and collectors. We expect A Touch of Ice will have the same high quality and exquisite detail.

Luis Royo’s A Touch of Ice is approximately 6 inches (15.25 cm) tall and will come in a window box packaging. The figure is expected to be released some time in 2010.
